These terms govern your use of leakdetectives.io and any request you submit through it. Leak Detectives is a trade name of Pool Pros Plus, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company (“Leak Detectives,” “we,” “us”).
By using this website or submitting a request through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What these terms cover
These terms cover the website and the inquiry process. They do not govern the inspection or any repair work. Services we perform are governed by the written estimate, inspection agreement, or work order you approve for that job. If those documents conflict with these terms, they control for that job.
2. Inquiries and estimates
A price or assessment we give you over the phone or from a form submission is preliminary. Water loss has many causes, and what a job takes cannot be determined reliably without being on site.
- Any figure provided before an on-site inspection is an estimate for planning purposes and is subject to change.
- A binding price exists only in a written estimate we have issued and you have approved.
- Estimates are valid for the period stated on them, or 30 days if no period is stated.
- Submitting a request through this site does not create a contract and does not reserve a place on our schedule.
3. The nature of leak detection
Leak detection is a diagnostic service. We use pressure testing, acoustic listening, dye testing, and related methods to locate the probable source of water loss. You should understand the following before we begin:
- Detection is not a guarantee. We locate leaks using the best available methods, but we do not guarantee that every leak will be found, that a leak exists at all, or that water loss is not caused by evaporation, splash-out, backwashing, or another non-leak source.
- A system may have more than one leak. Locating and repairing one leak does not mean the system is leak-free. Continued water loss after a repair may indicate an additional leak, and any further inspection is a separate service.
- Our findings are an opinion at a point in time, based on the conditions, access, and evidence present on the day of the inspection. Weather, water temperature, ground saturation, and equipment configuration all affect what can be detected.
- Some leaks require invasive work to confirm. Where a leak is under a deck, slab, or buried line, confirming its exact location may require excavation or removal of decking or finish material. That work is quoted separately and is never performed without your written approval.
- Detection and repair are separate. Unless your written agreement says otherwise, our inspection locates the problem; repairing it is a separate scope with its own estimate.
4. Pre-existing conditions and resulting damage
Water loss frequently causes damage before it is diagnosed — to soil, decking, structures, equipment, and landscaping. We are not responsible for damage caused by a leak that existed before we were engaged, or for damage that becomes apparent once the leak is located.
Where accessing a leak requires disturbing decking, finish material, landscaping, or soil, we will tell you before we begin. Restoration of those areas is not part of a detection service unless your written agreement says so.
You agree to tell us about any known leak history, prior repair, structural issue, buried utility, or irrigation line before we begin.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access to the property and equipment, to maintain the water level we ask for before the inspection, to provide electrical service where the work requires it, to secure pets, and to disclose hazards or buried utilities we could not reasonably know about. Inspections may need to be rescheduled if site conditions or weather prevent reliable testing.
6. Website use
The content, layout, images, text, and marks on this site belong to Pool Pros Plus, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for your own use in evaluating our services. You may not copy, republish, scrape, resell, or use our content for another business without our written permission.
You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Third-party links
This site may link to other websites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience and are not responsible for their content, their products, or their privacy practices.
8. Disclaimers
The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that the information on it is complete or current. Service descriptions and case examples on this site illustrate work we have performed and are not a promise of the same outcome on your property.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties relating to this website, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Warranties on work we actually perform, if any, are stated in the written estimate or work agreement for that job.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Oklahoma law, Pool Pros Plus, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost use, arising out of your use of this website.
Our total liability arising out of your use of this website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This limit applies to the website only. Liability relating to services we perform is governed by the estimate or work agreement for that job and by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pool Pros Plus, LLC and its members, employees, and contractors from any claim arising out of your misuse of this website, your violation of these terms, or material you submit that infringes someone else’s rights.
11. Privacy
Information you submit through this site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this website will be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Comanche County, Oklahoma, under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. Either party may bring a claim in small claims court instead, if it qualifies.
You and we agree that any dispute will be brought on an individual basis and not as a class action.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
14. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding this website.
