Is it a leak, or is it August?

Five signs it isn’t just evaporation.

In a 100° Lawton week a pool loses about a quarter inch a day to plain evaporation. Past that, something is wrong — and the sooner you call, the smaller the repair.

Get it checked

Water drops more than ¼″ a day

A leak in the shell, the plumbing, or the equipment

Auto-fill valve runs constantly

A steady leak is pulling water out as fast as you add it

Air bubbles in the return jets

A suction line is drawing air, often from a leak

Wet spot near the pump or filter

An equipment leak that seems small but adds up fast

Water bill up with no other cause

The auto-fill has been quietly masking a hidden leak

How we find & fix your leak

Three steps, same order, every time.

Red clay swallows leaking water before it reaches the surface. You can’t see the leak, so we test for it.

1

Inspect & test

A static water loss test first, to confirm there is a real leak and not just a hot week. Then a walk of the shell, deck and equipment pad before we call anything.

2

Pinpoint the leak

Every line pressure-tested one at a time, sonar along the line that drops, dye at the skimmer, light niche, main drain and tile line — and we dive when the source is below water.

3

Repair & protect

A written quote before any work starts. Pipepoxy from inside the line where it fits, skimmer replacement and structural repair where it doesn't.

Pipepoxy — the no-dig repair

Fix the pipe.
Keep the deck.

The classic repair means cutting your concrete, trenching six feet through dense red clay, re-plumbing, backfilling, then paying to put the deck, tile and landscaping back. Pipepoxy seals the line from the inside instead.

How do I know if it's a leak or just evaporation?

Try the bucket test: fill a bucket to the pool's water level and check it against the pool level after 24 hours. Our hot summers increase evaporation, so if you're losing several inches a day beyond what the bucket shows, it's a leak rather than heat.

How much does pool leak detection cost in Lawton?

It depends on the size of your pool and how complex the plumbing is. Most jobs are a flat service fee for a full system inspection. You get one clear price up front, and if we find a leak you also get a written quote for the repair.

How long does leak detection take?

Most pool leak detection jobs are done in two to four hours on site. Simple leaks can be pinned down faster; pools with several problems at once take longer, because we don't stop at the first leak we find.

Can you fix a leak without tearing up my pool deck?

In most cases, yes. Our Pipepoxy solution seals leaking plumbing from the inside, and our detection equipment lets us target the repair precisely rather than digging up the whole line.

Why does clay soil cause so many leaks here?

Most of Southwest Oklahoma sits on thick expansive clay. It soaks up water and swells, then dries out and shrinks. Weeks over 100 degrees bake it, fast storms soak it, and hard freezes pry at every crack. All that ground movement shears skimmer throats, pulls suction lines loose and slips main drain seals — then the clay drinks the leaking water so you never see a puddle.

Tired of guessing where the water is going?

You get a fair, upfront assessment, an honest report on what is leaking, and a clear quote for the fix. No guesswork. No runaround.
